30 Day Guide to Spring Cleaning

Spring is almost here, and it is time to start making plans for spring cleaning. If you are organized and proactive, you can deep clean your home and still have plenty of time to enjoy the warm weather and the great outdoors.

All you need to spring clean your entire home is 30 days and a plan. Here is a 30-day plan you can use to deep clean your house in time for all those fun spring activities.

1. Clean the vacuum – the vacuum cleaner sucks up a lot of dirt, so give it its own deep cleansing so it can run more efficiently.
2. Descale the dishwasher – descaling the dishwasher means cleaner dishes, less energy usage, and the elimination of objectionable odors.
3. Disinfect the dishwasher – if you cannot remember the last time you disinfected the dishwasher, it should definitely be part of your spring cleaning regimen.
4. Clean the dryer – empty the lint trap, clean the interior of the dryer and enjoy a season full of fresh and clean-smelling laundry.
5. Clean window exteriors – give your windows a good spring cleaning, so you can enjoy the beauty of the natural world around you.
6. Wash the curtains – take those curtains down and give them a good washing; you will be surprised at how cleaner your house will smell.
